Thread: Danville 6/0, Black & White
Rib: Danville 4-Strand Rayon Floss, Yellow
Body: Danville 4-Strand Rayon Floss, Green
Wing: Cinnamon Orpington Cock
Hackle: Brown

A curious thing happened while processing this video and getting it published. A fellow Instagram traveler and fly tier Day Mountain Flies (https://www.instagram.com/daymountainflies/) posted a photo of the Potomac From Ray Bergman's Trout and it is [almost] exactly like the Hunt Fly. I looked up the recipes (The Hunt Fly is on page 433, plate #4 and the Potomac is on page 442, plate #7) and the only difference is that the Potomac calls for "Bright Green" floss and the Hunt Fly specifies a Cinnamon Orpington Cock wing where as the Potomac just calls for Cinnamon. Even the paintings by Dr. Burke look identical. I wonder what other flies in Trout are this close to being identical?
