IPN Cat Varient

There are so many great patterns for this time of year I am going to try and concentrate in the next few weeks to share them with you. This is a variation on the Stillwater favourite, the IPN or "Idiot Proof Nymph" it is probably the most basic lure used on small waters and reservoirs. These Lures are essentially long marabou tailed flies with blob fritz bodies, and a contrasting varnished thread collar. This makes for a very simple to tie but very effective fly. They are superb at catching stocked fish the variations are plentiful. This one incorporates the FNF Block 30 Hulk fritz that adds huge amounts of movement in the fly.
