Loðmundur
Here we will be tying the Icelandic pattern Loðmundur. The fly is a great option for both stream and lake fishing and catches both brown trout and arctic char. Simple to tie and totally worth keeping a few in your box when you go fishing. I haven't fished this fly much myself since I prefer to use a little different patterns especially for the sea run Arctic char. It all depends though and anglers around the globe have different preferences on picking their flies.

Long story longer
The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
