Loop Wing Pupa

A great way to add wing buds or unfolding wings to nymph patterns. Loops of stripped organza ribbon give a great impression of unfolding wings when tied into the thorax of pupa and nymphs. The crimped fibres catch the light and sparkle like the veins in natural insect wings and the wings are much tougher and last longer than wings made from feather fibres. Thanks for watching.

Long story longer

The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
