Most Powerful Trout Ever!
I took a week long fishing trip out to 6 lakes in Utah, just outside of salt lake. I drove from my house in San Antonio Texas, and stopped half way at my cousins house in Farmington New Mexico.
The San Juan River 3 years later
I am so happy to have been able to take a trip back to the San Juan River. The San Juan is where I got my start videoing my fishing adventures.
Rabbit Crack
So earlier this week I made a review video on a dubbing brush table I recently got. In the video I showed a sped up video of me tying this fly. Here is the full video.
Brand New Brush Table
I got this brand new dubbing brush table from Oasis Benches. They have been out for less than a month at the time of this video.
Gulf of Mexico Fishing in a Tropical Storm
I was able to make another fishing trip down to Corpus Christi Texas to do some gulf saltwater fishing for redfish and speckled trout.
Blue Holographic
Perdigon flies are pretty simple flies to tie, yet very effective. They are tied on jig hooks with tungsten slotted beads to make it swim hook point up.
Blanco River and Guadalupe State Park
The Blanco and Guadalupe River are two rivers that are close to San Antonio where I live. I had not fished the Blanco River State Park before so I decided to head up there and give it a try.
Soft Hackle Dry Fly
This is a really interesting dry fly that ive tied quite a few times for a customer of mine named Andrew.
Large Gurgler Fly
Gurglers are a great fly for top water fishing. They are similar to poppers in that they do spit water.
Squishy Head Streamer - Green Shad
I designed this Squishy Head Streamer to move frantically side to side like a dying baitfish. The dry fly dubbing, and the cone of flexible UV resin on the front of the fly really give a unique movem...
7 Year old fly fishes for bass
My son Elijah is learning to fish very well. Finally he is getting the cast down, and loves it when we catch fish. Even if it as a small little community pond, kids love to fish.
Trout Fishing in Texas!?
So who knew trout fishing in Texas would be so good. I decided to go fish the Guadalupe river for some trout after we had one of the worst snow storms in recent Texas history.
Mini Surf Candy
Bob Popovic was the originator of the surf candy. He tied these to mimic sand eels and small baitfish. They still work today many years later and are a staple in many saltwater Fishermans boxes.
Pine Squirrel Leech
Simple yet effective sculpin or leech. Pine squirrel is a great material for making small streamers.
Griffiths Gnat
Griffiths Gnats are a classic pattern that is very simple to tie and also very effective. These only require two materials besides the thread and hooks.
Fly Fishing Corpus in the Winter
Every single time I go to Corpus and film the trip I usually get skunked. But finally I caught a few nice fish, and my buddy Johnny caught a legal flounder and speckled trout.
Texas Fly Fishing in Winter
During the winter here in Texas, fly fishing can be tough. However that doesn't mean you can't catch a few nice fish.
Simple Ant dry fly
Ant patterns can be one of the most effective patterns during the right times of year. When you start seeing flying ants floating in the water, you should really throw these.
Sometimes even slow days end great!
Bass fishing at its best for a small South Texas fly fishing stream. This was a great day. However it started kinda slow. Lots of walking, searching for fish with no success.
Medina in the Winter
Bass, Sunfish, Carp, Catfish all are mainly warm water fish. The Medina is a warm water fishery but a cold front moved in. This dropped the temps and definitely slowed down the fishing.
Hybrid Carp Fly
Carp are interesting fish. And the flies most people use to fish for them are even more interesting. Some very simple, some very complicated.
Wooly Bugger
The internet is not short of wooly bugger videos, however I figured I would show a few extra techniques like dubbing a body and what type of feathers I like to use.
Craft Fur Clouser
Craft Fur Clousers aren't like deer hair closures. Sure they look similar, and tied in similarly as well.
GFI Hopper
This pattern is awesome for trout, sunfish, bass, and anything that will eat a grasshopper. It also can be tied in black to mimic a cricket really easily as well.

Yes, this is a trick question and easy to answer - it's g!
