The bristly and curly fibers of the mylar-tubing do not win many hearts at first glance. But in the air, the fly unfolds its wings and flies lighter than everyone else its size, and in the water it is an irresistible treat for many predators.
In this video Søren Flarup ties the fly Mr. Mylar originally invented by the swedish pike-specialist Thomas Bengtsson.
