Perdigon Fly - Red Flash

Perdigon flies are extremely heavy, boasting a tungsten weighted bead. They are also very smooth being coated by UV resin, so they get down deep very quickly. I find these to be some of the best lead flies to fish. Many times I like to fish a brightly colored "attractor" lead fly, then drop something more natural off the back when fishing two flies. That makes this super bright fly a go to for me. Not only are they effective, but they are extremely easy to tie. I can bust through 10-15 of these in an hour which makes filling a box rather quick.

I need to re-fill my perdigon box, so in the next few weeks I will be tying quite a few different styles of these. Stay tuned to watch all of the different perdigon styles I tie. Make sure you are subscribed and hit that bell notification so you won't miss out on any future videos.

If you haven't already please check out my sponsor Risen Fly. They are offering you all a discount so go to www.risenfly.com and type in McFly at checkout for 15% off your first order with them.

Also dont forget to pick up one of my fly boxes. I have both magnetic backed and silicone backed, if these sell well I plan on getting more styles as well and maybe even bringing back the shirts that everyone loved years ago. Check out my amazon store front to pick up the boxes. - www.amazon.com/shops/McFlyAngler

… I have a small favor to ask.

Long story short

Support the Global FlyFisher through several different channels, including PayPal.

Long story longer

The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
