Perdigon - Midge Larvae Pupa

Perdigon flies are extremely heavy, boasting a tungsten weighted bead. They are also very smooth being coated by UV resin, so they get down deep very quickly. I find these to be some of the best lead flies to fish. Many times I like to fish a heavy lead fly, then drop something more natural and unweighted off the back when fishing two flies. Drop a small unweighted midge or baetis off the the back, and you have a recipe for an amazing day fly fishing for trout or other nymph and midge eating fish..
