Pine Squirrel Leech

Simple yet effective sculpin or leech. Pine squirrel is a great material for making small streamers. One of my favorite flies for fishing trout is the "slump buster" which is similar to this fly. That uses a cone head, this uses a bead, but basically is the same fly. This is quicker to tie though, and really catches fish well. It can be used as a sculpin imitation or leech, or even another small baitfish. Its versatile for sure. The fly is so easy and quick to tie, that once you get going, you can tie up quite a few and fill up your fly box in a short time.
