Roamer Tripple

No comments yet

In this video we have the Pennsylvania smallmouth and trout guide Jake Villwock - owner of the shop Relentless Flyfishing - to demonstrate one of his signature “must-have” patterns from his flybox. The Roamer was originally designed as a single-hook striper fly, but over the years it has evolved into a bass and musky fly and for a lot of other species. It is designed as an articulated fly due to the movement of both hooks and shanks, which makes the fly "swim" much easier while retrieving - an effect that really can trigger paedatory fish.

Since you got this far …

The GFF money box

… I have a small favor to ask.

Long story short

Support the Global FlyFisher through several different channels, including PayPal.

Long story longer

The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
