Rødhætte AKA Red Devil

No comments yet

This is a little fly I invented recently, which I think can be a real killer for seatrout. I tried it with success in the local fjord, Mariager Fjord. I call it Rødhætte in Danish, as a nice guy Brian Krogh Larsen suggested, but in English that becomes Little Red Riding Hood! A fly can't have a name like that, so I named it Red Devil in English.
While practicing and tying more of them for friends, I made version in size 8 as well, and added weight underneath the dubbing on some of them as well, but was aiming for a light, transparent fly.

Give it a go, leave a comment or even subscribe for more content!

Kind regards,
Christian Krogh

Long story longer

The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
See more details about what you can do to help in this blog post.

The Global FlyFisher has recently been updated to a new publishing system, and there may be a few glitches while the last bits get fixed. If you meet anything that doesn't work, please let me know.
