A deadly Bonefish Crab Fly that is simple to tie, durable and the fish cannot resist biting it. One advantage to this crab pattern is that it will not make a huge splash in the face of a wary bonefish. This Bonefish Crab is one of the best flies to use for casting at the big bonefish in the Florida Keys Backcountry. I like to tie this crab pattern with elk hair, however any color deer or elk hair will work great. I also chose to use a medium set of dumbbell eyes, but this fly can be tied to meet any fishing situation. Capt Matt guides in Florida and Louisiana for shallow feeding fish. If you haven't tried flats fishing or you love it as much as I do, You need to stand in the front of my boat. go to http://riplips.com for information and booking.
