Superpuppan is originally one of Swedish Lennart Bergqvist's classics, tied to imitate caddisflies that have risen to the surface and are on their way to land to hatch. The fly can be fished deaddrift or with small strips to allow it to head towards land while fishing. If there are hatching natural caddisflies, it will easily imitate the original, otherwise it is often a good idea to fish the fly deaddrift first, as the movements easily scare off fish that are easily spooked. In this video, we have had flytyer and flyfisherman Håkan Karsnäser to demonstrate this Swedish classic.
