Wet flies

Here I tie a winged wet fly called "Thunder" as outlined in Ray Bergman's "Trout"

Hook: Sproat bend wet fly hook - here size 10 from Partridge
Tail: Golden Pheasant Crest
Body: Black floss
Rib: Orange Silk
Hackle/Beard: Yellow
Wing: Guinea Hen Quill slips

Body: dark peacock herl
Rib: Gold twist
Hackle: Black Red. I interpret this as "furnace".
