Top water foam frog

One of my customers sent me a photo of a frog that looked like this and asked me to tie it. So this is what I came up with. I really like the way this fly fishes, and the bass tend to like it also. Its big and bulky, with a lot of water pushing at the head. Its not too difficult to tie, and therefor you can tie a few in short time.

If you want to get some materials at a great cost, go to for what they offer. They have great prices on materials and tools they make themselves including hooks and scissors. Also go check out for more name brand materials also at excellent prices. They have a wide variety of the more popular materials, and keep their prices low. Both companies have offered my subscribers a discount, so when you check out from either of these shops, type in McFly at checkout for 15% off of anything you buy from either of them.

Support the Global FlyFisher through several different channels, including PayPal.

Long story longer

The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
