A couple weeks ago, I bought a couple reel seat inserts from a fellow who had a few parts listed on eBay. I asked for a couple inserts of nicely figured cocobolo, and what I got back really got my attention. The fit is perfect and the finish of the seats is absolutely smooth and blemish free, polished to a nice satin lustre. See the pics below.

Now all I gotta do is figure out what sort of rod I'm gonna use these on. Maybe a couple Dan Craft blanks.
