Pro Adult Stonefly

A must-have-in-the-box for trout anglers all over the world is the large (but also smaller) imitations of stoneflies – few flies like these can fool even the largest and critical fish to take, as long as the presentation is correct. Fly fishermen – and tyers – can often go with less complicated flies, but for many, the joy of a beautiful and matching imitation is a big part of the catch. The large stoneflies can be quite complicated to tie, but the innovative company Pro Sportfisher has a kit that makes it quite easy to tie a realistic imitation of stoneflies. In this video, we have had the Danish fly tyer and fly fisherman Morten "Coastfly" to demonstrate they tying of a hatching stonefly.

Long story longer

The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
