When we are talking about shrimp flies for Scandinavian coastal fishing, it is impossible to avoid the popular Pattegris or the Pig. The long and extremely vibrant fibers from the Whiting Speyhackles have shown their effectiveness countless times ... but sometimes the fish are suspicious and only nibble at the tip of the fibers. For those situations, we have had Mathias "Krølle" Ibsen behind the plug to come up with his bid for a smaller shrimp fly that he uses, when he experiences the sea trout just following and nipping at the ends of the long fibers - the CDL Shrimp named after the speckled hackles from the beautiful Coq De Leon hackles.
