Catching carp on the fly is immensely good fun and something you really should try. Catching them off the surface is exciting and one of the easiest methods is to feed them up on floating dog biscuits or floating fish pellets (Skrettings) then fishing a suitable imitation. Historically, this has involved using deer hair patterns sculpted to shape. However, this modern version using adhesive back felt provides a much better alternative and does provide better results.
