LW Reel Review

No comments yet

I am someone who doesn't like to spend a ton of money on my fly fishing gear. However I still want a high quality reel or rod, that will perform for me when it needs to. Usually you have to spend a lot to get quality, but the LW fly reel is the exception. This reel has some features that are only found in higher end fly reels that cost double or even triple the money. One major thing is that it is a sealed drag. It is also machined, and has a lifetime warranty. In my opinion it is a gorgeous fly reel that is one of the best looking reels ive ever owned. Its light weight, but durable. There really isn't much to be said bad about this reel. And best of all, it is in the budget reel price range. So it will not put a hole in your wallet.

Yes, Risen fly does sponsor me, but that is not the reason I recommend their gear. I have been approached by many companies to advertise for them, and I turn most down because I don't want to promote their products. But Risen fly is different. I actually approached them for sponsorship on my videos because I love their gear so much. I can be confident recommending their reels and rods to my subscribers and know they will get a product they love. The quality control and customer service is excellent with Risen fly. So go to www.risenfly.com and type in "McFly" at checkout for 15% off of your first order with them. Its me and Risen's way of saying thank you for watching this video and being my subscriber.

Since you got this far …

Long story longer

The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
