Shwa Creek Caddis

No comments yet

The Shwa Creek Caddis is a pattern I've adapted over the past couple seasons starting with a simple caddis Pupa pattern. I've added a lightly contrasting rib of UNI-Yarn to dull down the bright chartreuse and added ostrich herl (or dyed black peacock) over the bronze olive Diamond Dubbing I had been using. The ostrich adds a bit of movement to the fly.

Long story longer

The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
