Here I tie two traditional flies or "kebari" in Japanese from the Takayama area of Gifu prefecture.

Takayama Jun black wool kebari
Body = black wool
Hackle = black hen cape

Takayama Sakasakebari
Body = red silk
Hackle = hen pheasant
Thorax = peacock herl
