Wanderlust

As our list of responsibilities grow often times fishing opportunities become fewer and farther between. As time has gone on my appreciation for a day on the water has grown. The simple acts of wading, rowing, and casting seem to melt away the minutiae of the daily grind. I no longer measure success in numbers of fish. But rather experiences. I find myself looking for new water. Or new ways to explore my favorite spots. Many times the day brings unexpected surprises and a renewed passion for fly fishing. This is a quick "highlight reel" from 2015's fishing adventures. Some of the clips may be familiar from my other videos. But they are definitely the moments that defined this year for me.
