Wright's Royal
The Wright's Royal was designed by Phil Wright in the 1970's. The fly was designed for fishing the Big Hole River trout but is a great trout fly for trout everywhere. The fly is tied using the familiar "Royal" peacock and red in a trude style dry fly. The wing may be tied with calf hair, elk, deer, badger or racoon hair. The hackle used should either be a Cree colored hackle or the traditional Coachman brown.

Long story longer
The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
