George Harvey’s Original Dry Fly Leader
3 variations- The tippet can be varied from 22" (55cm) to 30" (75cm)
George Harvey’s “New” Formula
3 variations- The tippet can be extended to 20-48” (55-120cm) — 4X, 5X or 6X soft nylon, selected to match the fly and the conditions. From Fly Fisherman magazine via Troutbitten.
Leonard Positive Turn-Over
2 variations- These formulas were kindly provided by Swedish Johan Allgén. They were measured from two original HL Leonard Rod Co hand tied leaders. The sections were slightly uneven, but roughly followed the form: 18-18-18-18-20-20 inches. The leaders were labeled 9', but were more like 9.5' including a perfection loop in the butt end.

Schweitzer's 4-Segment All-Purpose
63 variations- When in a pinch, this leader is quick to tie and will accommodate most every situation.
A great leader for beginners to learn, tie and fish.
Schweitzer's 4-Segment Perfect Taper
27 variations- Formula designed to tie quickly, turnover with light casts or into wind.
Has a longer tippet than most popper formulas, allowing delicate presentations to finicky panfish.
Ideal for still water fishing.
Schweitzer's Dry, 5-Segment
42 variations- This leader was designed to tie quickly and accommodate the most wide variety of situations.
Schweitzer's Dry, Windy Conditions
28 variations- This leader is made to turn over a dry fly a bit easier in windy conditions while still allowing for enough slack for floating a dry fly in tricky currents.
Add more tippet to accommodate a longer drift pattern (similar to Harvey slack).
