Wayne Luallen has a wealth of fly-tying knowledge and experience for all types of flies, from the tiniest imitations to full dressed salmon flies.
He combines wide-ranging, exquisite technical skills and material handling with an eye for proportions and beautiful end results. Whether the final flies are for fishing or exhibition.
Wayne is a renowned fly tying teacher. He has held lots of fly tying classes in lots of countries – apart from those in his home country, the US, he has taught in The Netherlands, England, Norway and Denmark.
All tiers can benefit from paying attention when Wayne is tying. Most tiers will pick up important details that can make a difference.
Wayne was featured as one of the world's leading salmon fly tiers in Judith Dunham's best-selling book, The Atlantic Salmon Fly – The Tyers and their Art (1991).
Wayne was the 1991 recipient of the Buz Buszek Memorial Award – the most prestigious award within fly-tying. Since then he has extended his scope and refined his techniques even further.
Wayne Luallen is a well known fly tyer and instructor, whose skills and thorough and precise - almost meticulous - way of treating fly tying has been appreciated by many and awarded a Buz Buszek Memorial Award as mentioned above.

Long story short
Support the Global FlyFisher through several different channels, including PayPal.
Long story longer
The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
