Tying the Howies Sunrise with Steve Andrews
I designed this Fall Atlantic Salmon pattern with pretty much one goal in mind, keep the fly simple & clean. Like most creations, this pattern was created the night before an early fishing trip the next morning during our fall season here in Nova Scotia, after a very memorable morning I ended my day landing 3 fall run Atlantic Salmon making Howies Sunrise a permanent fly always in my box.

Thread: Danvilles FlyMaster 6/0
Tag: Gold Tinsel
Body: Black Floss
Rib: Gold Tinsel
Wind: Sunburst Opossum
Hackle: Yellow behind Orange
