Clouser Minnow
Clouser minnows are very popular and effective flies that ride hook point up to help keep from snagging. They have a great jigging action, and work really well to get fish on the line. They have been tied many ways through the years, and I tie them other ways as well, but this is the original way they were tied, and some would argue that its still the best way. Chartreuse and white is probably the most popular color pattern for this fly. This fly can be fished in both salt and freshwater, for a number of species.

Long story longer
The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
