Leisenring Iron Blue Wingless
This is #8 of Leisenring’s Favorite Flies
Here is the recipe from his book.
I used a size 14 hook. Hackle dark honey dun. My tail was lighter so maybe not dark enough? “Short” looking at his tie seems shank length.

Hollow Fleye Squid
Bob Popovics' hollow fleye is an incredibly versatile pattern that lends itself to imitating multiple mid sized and larger forage species. While most commonly used as a baitfish, with a few small adjustments the platform makes an excellent squid pattern that works when targeting a range of species From stripers to amberjacks and even GTs.

The Surf Candy needs no introduction to salt water anglers, it can be tied in a range of colours and sizes to suit the local bait in your area. They'll catch bass, bluefin tuna, and pretty much everything in between.

Tropical Fishing in Tenerife - Deep-Sea V-Log #6
I am deeply in love with almost any type of fishing! In this video I and my son Axel Freyr went down to Tenerife to spend the Christmas and stayed for 10 days. We decided to take a half day fishing charter with a company called Crested Wave Genuine Fishing. I was on board with them back in 2017 but caught few fish then.

Pink Panther
Here we will be tying a fly by myself that got the name Pink Panther. The fly I tied around 1999-2000 so it's a millennium Hommi. The fly is a great option for both stream and lake fishing. The name of the fly is because of it's hot pink colour and often bright colours tend to work well in mirky water.

JS Bullet Frances
Here we will be tying the tube fly Bullet Frances. It was kind of new here in the late 90's when Jón Sigurðsson started to make this version of the fly when his sisters husband, Rúnar worked as a guide in Laxá in Kjós. The fly was designed for Rúnar. This version he told me has been remarkably successful, specially in the midsummer and late summer season.

Orange Needle
Here we will be tying the first unnamed fly I have by my mentor and teacher, mr. Jón Sigurðsson. I got permission by his daughter to name the fly. The fly was made in about the year 2002-2003 since Jón caught a massive 12 lbs. seatrout on it in the summer of 2003.

Hot Pink Peacock Jig
Here we will be tying a fly by myself called Hot Pink Peacock Jig. The fly is a great option for both stream and lake fishing and was just devised couple of years back. The Hot Pink is utterly simple to tie and it catches both brown trout and Arctic char. It's a good pattern that's totally worth to keeping a few in your box when you go fishing.

Here we will be tying a variant of Jóns Sigurðsson's famous fly, Veiðidís. Jón originally made the original Veiðidís fly in the late 80's but with a little different materials than this one is made out of. Hi there and welcome to another fly tying tutorial. This time a no name hackle fly. The reason it has no name is because it can be hard to recreate. I got the feathers from the Ewing soft hackle variety pack and had fun with that.

Magnus’ Fluo Madnes
During the early fishing for the large silver-shiny salmon and sea trout, the flies should be of considerable size and with bright colors in order to attract attention. One of the skilled fishermen at the legendary river Mørrum in southern Sweden is Magnus Olsson, who has created this eye-catching fly in slightly untraditional colours – but the colours work on the fish and they love it.
