Fly tying - Tie Better
Hi There, I started to tie tube flies again. When I started tying, I used streamer hackles from a roosters neck, but they seem too stiff to me. Which feather is the best to use? I think its hen, but I don't want to buy capes that I don't use then. So if anybody could help me, it would be nice... Tobsn

Help buying waders.
Forums:
Fly fishing - Fish Better
Hello Flyfishers. I am looking at some waders and was wondering what should I be looking for. I have been looking at the Cabela's line of waders just the neoprene ones and was wondering are they the way to go or should I get the ones which say they are breathable. Also is it better to get the ones with boots included or the ones with the socks then you buy wading boots seperate. Thanks

GFFSummit 09
Folks, We are once again ready to start embarking on the journey, which ends up somewhere in Denmark with the fly fishing party called The Global FlyFisher Summit. This year the Summit will take place in [b:1a2659dac3]the weekend September the 18th-20th 2009.[/b:1a2659dac3] We have had great luck with our September venues before, and there is no reason to change this tradition. Weather has been great, fishing good and the camaraderie beyond description.

Baskets, trays, buckets
Sometimes you want to make sure that your line doesn't tangle and sometimes you want to make longer casts. A line or stripping basket, bucket or tray may be the solution. This article covers a bunch of types from rigid plastic buckets to ingenious contraptions with spikes and hooks.
More on stripping baskets here.

Hau people! I need some info from all of you  Some alcohol fans from Lithuania are planing to go to Danish Fly Festival ( http://www.flyfestival.dk/2009/index.php ) and after it to fish one or two days somewhere around Kolding. So can you guys suggest where to do it? :) Or maybe someone want to join our company to fish together? All information about licenses, prices and fishing spots is welcome :!:
